Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the memorial service of Dr. Brundin, a man who I very much appreciated as a dedicated professor thorough, engaging and humourous. He was a passionate, inspiring speaker and conversationalist. I often thought that his voice would have best represented what one might expect from an Abraham Lincoln. I shall always remember the day that he informed our class of his 95 year old Mother's accident in the kitchen of her home. His resonant and compassionate tone of voice reminded us of what is truly important in life. For me, Dr. Brundin represented the full measure of what a man is called to be. My condolences to the family.

My condolences to Dr. Brundin's Family. He was a kind and gentle man who will be missed. I was one of his students when he first came to Alberta and will especially remember his humour and his cycling enthusiasm (even in the winter).

So sad to hear of Dr. Brundin's passing. I remember his kind manner and his gentle sense of humour from my years at the U of Alberta School of Library & Information Studies.

Here are a few words that come to mind about Dr. Bob: kind, easy going, adventurer, music lover, croquet competitor, avid reader, health guy (gym user, biker, walker, camper, Folk Fest tarp runner), great smile, easygoing, family man, dog lover, guide by example, friend. My thoughts, hugs and love to the family.

My deepest condolences to the Brundin family. I was privileged to have Dr. Brundin both as my faculty advisor at SLIS, and as a customer at the Strathcona Branch Library at EPL. His kindness and wisdom were so very much a part of him in both realms.
