Robert Carney

I was very saddened to learn of Bob's passing last November. he was a prince of a man, kind, warmhearted, with a mischievous sense of humour.our families became connected through Verlie and Bob's nephew Patrick and Brenda was our first babysitter. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and I regret I will be unable to attend the memorial in Edmonton.

Bob was a very kind man who helped me out a few times during my early teaching career. His influence and contribution to the North continues to date with many generations of Northerners. Mahsi cho Bob, you have worked hard for all of us, rest in peace.
