Dear Neil SO sorry to hear about your dadsorry I did not know sooner,I met your dad about three years ago when I started playing old mens basketball in Dedham.I soon heard about you playing football for the vikings and how proud and happy he was that you were playing.I soon began to see your dad at the field and he always went out of his way to say hi even though Pat and kevin were on a different Mites team and ask how they were doing.I will pass on the sad news to the other men that played Basketball in Dedham with me.we looked forward to seeing your Dad every week he made us laugh at ourselves! On a late summers day my wife called me out to the front of the house. She was talking to someone on a motorcycle and it was "B" Carr. "B" came out back and sat with us for 4 hours and talked with Donna about the early days at the Oldham school, the laughs went on for hours. They talked about an Oldham reunion. I'm saddened to hear about his passing.Donna & I enjoyed spending that tme with him this summer.We will remember that day and his ability to make us laugh as will alot of people we're sure.
