Dear Anita and family... very sorry to learn of your loss. I have great memories to cherish of you and Bob while you lived in Savannah and attended the "Circle of Friends." Your participation was indispensable. Was sad to see you move away, but understood the significance thereof. What a special individual Bob was. My deepest. PS: May Go ever strengthen and keep you in the center of His loving and divine fold.

We had a lot of fun together back in Aiken. From the Steeplechase to just sitting around talking and watching TV shows. St Paddy’s day waiting for our corned beef and cabbage. Just enjoying each others company. We will miss Bob terribly.

Above the Bright Blue Sky
~Albert Midlane
There's a Friend for little children
Above the bright blue sky,
A Friend who never changes
Whose love will never die;
Our earthly friends may fail us,
And change with changing years,
This Friend is always worthy
Of that dear name he bears.
There's a home for little children
Above the bright blue sky,
Where Jesus reigns in glory,
A home of peace and joy;
No home on earth is like it,
Nor can with it compare;
And everyone is happy,
Nor could be happier there.
Love you more than the big blue sky.

Anita and family - I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with Bob during my years working at Bethesda. He was a very genuine man, unpretentious, humble - and funny. He and Mr. Mac were a pair to be around. I just wanted you to know how much all of us at Bethesda appreciated both of you and your tireless service. Bob was a wonderful example for literally hundreds of boys, boys who desperately needed a strong role model like him. He'll be missed.

Anita and Family,
Our Bethesda Academy extended family joins you in mourning the passing of Bob and celebrating his truly amazing life. His wisdom, generosity, and dedication to our beloved Bethesda Academy boys and institution made a real positive difference in the lives of so many of our young men and all of us at Bethesda. Bob was a worker, a giver, and a fine gentleman to have as an example of servant leadership for the boys of Bethesda. Our staff members who worked with Bob join me in prayers for your loss and in gratitude for all Bob did for us. I agree with David Tribble about the incredible contributions Bob made in so many ways to all of us.

Anita and family....Lynn and I prayerfully offer our deepest sympathies as you deal with Bob’s passing. Bob was a wonderful friend to Bethesda. As a board leader his wit and care was always on display. As a friend his counsel was always on point and appreciated. We had some great times together Anita and boy did we laugh. We’ll never forget Bob. So glad he is part of our lives. God’s peace Anita and family. All of you are in our prayers.
