Unclle Bob was best frieds of my parents Ray and Mary Gallow when they were stationed in the AF in Kassel, Germany in 1957. They stayed in touch all these years and was a part of our family...he attended my wedding 47 yrs ago in Memphis and our daughter wedding in Indianapolis 20 yrs ago and beat my husband in golf about 8 yrs ago. Great guy will definitely be missed...

I have been a fortunate person indeed to have had Robert in my life. The human race is poorer with his passing.

My wife Lynda (Walker) Adams and I knew Robert all of of our married life (nearly 48 years). We fondly remember Friday night card games with friends and family. Robert was one of the finest and noblist people to have ever walked this planet. He was a "giver" and a "doer" for everyone that needed help in any way. He lived God's Commandment daily to, " Love Thy Neighbor". Robert you will be missed by all of us here, but you have earned your rest and the joy of eternal blessing and we know you were greeted at the Golden Gates of Heaven with the words,Well done thy good and faithful servant!

To Paul & family, My heartfelt prayers & sympathy are with you. Bob was a wonderful, caring man I had the pleasure to work with at the Fort Smith Red Cross office. His gift most assuredly was service. May God comfort you during this difficult time.

This man was an important part of my life when I was young. Cannot remember a single get together that Robert was not at. He was not only a mentor to different people he was also a great volunteer.

I knew Bob from 10 years of doing taxes with him at VITA. He was a good friend, and a good man. He allowed me to use his name as a reference for my work. I also knew about some of his charity work. In short he was a good friend and I will miss him. May you find comfort in your memories of him.

Roberrt, I only got to know you in the past 12 years, but really enjoyed meeting you and being around you during all the holidays with the Gooch/Putman clans! You were a smart and enjoyable man and told a good joke. I know Barry and his family (along with myself) will sure miss you at each and every family get together and I know they considered you one of their family. Rip in peace, our friend. Michele Myhand

I'll remember Robert with love until I die. He broadened my horizons tremendously. What a great but crancky man :)

I believe that I communicated to Robert my heartfelt thanks before he passed away...all of the wonderful swimming and camping vacations, the Rockefeller Farms trips, and the myriad of experiences I would never have had if not for him. Robert was a great man and a difficult one at times but I loved him. I. will miss him for the rest of my life.
