News Death Notice
COLDING, Sr. Robert L. age 87, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Hospice at Lakeside Manor. Robert is an Army Veteran of WWII and worked as a Fire Fighter for the City of Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna in 2013; grandson, Verneil; his parents; 5 brothers & 5 sisters. Robert is survived by his sons & daughter-in-law, Robert Colding, Jr. of PA, Larry Colding of MD, Ed & Jan Colding of Dayton; sister, Carmen Washington; grandchildren, Tamika, Sabrina, Candice, Desire, Dante, Andre; numerous great-grandchildren; and many other relatives & friends. Funeral service 1:30 PM Friday, August 15, 2014 at Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike with Rev. Reggie Frey officiating. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 PM until service time. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Dayton Veterans Affair Hospice in Robert's memory.
