I only knew Bob for a short time, but he was very helpful and patient with me when I would ask questions at work. He talked about his two daughters a lot and I know he was extremely proud of both of them.

A great fellow employee, but even a better friend. I will always remember Bob for a smile on his face, for a great sense of humor, and for his great love for his beautiful family.

My condolences to the Congdon family. I had the pleasure of working with Bob for many years. He was always very responsive to my questions and incredibly knowledgeable. But I best remember him for his jovial spirit. He was always in a good mood and it rubbed off on you when he was around. He will be missed.

To Julia, his daughters and family: I have had the absolute privilege of working with Bob for around 15 years. I know of no other person so full of life, happy to help, intelligent, friendly, hilarious, kind hearted and an absolute joy to be around. We have had an ongoing challenge to see if I could stump him with a technical question, and no matter how obscure or archaic the answer, I don't think I ever succeeded! No matter how bad of day you were having, a phone call or lunch with Bob always brightened your day. His laugh was iconic and reflected who he was. I will never forget that. I am so sorry for your loss, Bob was a good friend of mine and will be missed dearly.

Condolences to the Congdon family.
I will miss Bob as I worked with him for many years at Westinghouse and Eaton. He always had a smile and a positive attitude. Nice to be around.

Sorry to hear of Bob's passing, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family. Jeremiah 29:11, 12 assures us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, and that if we come and pray to Him, He will listen to us. In the days to come may you find comfort in that hope.
