Two years have gone by, three since Uncle Bob´s brother Francis died... it doesn´t seem possible. Every word I wrote on behalf of our family two years ago remains true. Uncle Bob is deeply and dearly missed by us all... sending love to all of Uncle Bob´s family, friends and loved ones on behalf of our wing of the family - Barbara, Ron (& Nan, Caroline, Cameron), Brigid (& Dick), Erin (& Aaron Rodgers), Tim (& Stacy, Eoin, Kylie, Nora), & Myself/Sean (& Jennifer, Diana, Joseph, Rachel, Riley, Matthew). God bless, heal, watch over, protect and strengthen us all. Rest in peace Uncle Bob.

As his nephew and on behalf of my siblings I can attest to the fact that Robert Thomas Connolly was the best, a great man and a great cop who followed in his grandfather Joseph Vincent Connolly´s footsteps.

While I don´t know if Uncle Bob was a Boy Scout, I do know that no one exemplified or followed their law better- he was as a matter of course trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient (most of the time), cheerful, thrifty, BRAVE, clean, and reverent. Moreover, he was an excellent mentor, always willing to help and guide anyone in need, a prankster & perhaps a little comedian...

Uncle Bob was one book end of a pair of cool Uncles who always seemed to drive the hot cars. I will leave tales of bowling and guinea bowls for others to tell, but I will say that he was an excellent friend, a better brother and even better son; he looked after, out for and over everyone, whether family or friend.

If you had the honor, the privilege and the good fortune to count yourself among his friends and family, then you have the honor and the comfort of knowing that as sure as there is a God in heaven, you are being watched over, protected, loved and missed from afar. Thank you Uncle Bob you are and will be forever missed, Rest In Peace until we are all together once again.

I am so very sorry that I cannot be there with the rest of my family to honor Uncle Bob appropriately and express my thanks to him and the rest of the family for all they are, have been and have done for all.

I want to send all our love, hugs, kisses and expressions of sorrow to Carrie, Anita, Uncle Tom, Aunt Kitty, Aunt Lynn, & Aunt Reenie

Bob was a wonderful man with a heart of gold. My heart aches for the Connolly family and all of Bob`s friends. I know he is celebrating with Judy and the kids while looking after each of you as your own personal Guardian angel. You are all in my prayers. God bless you all

Our family is so shocked and saddened by your terrible loss. My deceased husband Wayne was great friends with Bob; on the TEU, and traveling to many car shows. Bob was truly a kind man, generous in every way, uplifting in difficult times, funny , especially
when you needed his humor, and determined to hope for the best .
God Bless You , and please know that our hearts are also heavy with sorrow.

My Deepest Sympathy to Bob's family and friends. I saw him about 6 years ago and we sent emails once in a while. We went to St. Gerard's School in Milwaukee years ago for grade school. He was my first boyfriend in 7th and 8th grade. Hope he is with his wife and two children and other family members and friends in heaven. Rest in peace, Bob!

Bob, was a loyal dedicated and outstanding police officer. As a TEU member he displayed the courage and stamina to set an example for many contemporaries to follow. As his former Commander I can say he was "the Best". Rest In peace my friend.
