Robert never left his Blaine Lake roots..He knew just about everyone there. His mom and dad were our across the alley neighbors since 1948. When his mom died he inherited the property. He looked after it proudly and faithfully cut the grass there every summer and not only there but for all the neighbors around, He gladly did so for a bowl of "borch" and some friendly conversation. My parents Nick & Helen Perverseff were friends of both Stella I& Robert. I knew him and so did my daughter Tanya. They used to run races in the back alley when he was in his 70's. He was like a 2nd grandpa to her. He was very special to many of us in Blaine Lake and we look forward to a "Cinima Paridiso Blaine Lake."

Jocelyn we are sorry for the loss of your Dad, our Uncle. Did not know he had such and illustrious, long career with IASTE. God Bless him for painting his house when he was 80: those Corrigall boys were mentally /physically tough hombres. God speed and God bless Uncle Robert! I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Corrigall way back in 1989 when I first met Joss. He was visiting her in her first Ottawa apartment. I then met him another time when he visited Ottawa for one of his birthdays. He always remembered my name whenever Joss phoned him long distance, which never ceased to amaze me. He was a very cordial fellow with a great sense of humour, and I know he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

He was a good friend of my dad, Albert Horner. My sisters and I met him when he came to our dad's 90th. We so enjoyed listening to his reminisces about his youth. He had such a sense of humour and could spin a good story! A life well lived. i also remember his mother..we would always stop and talk to her when we were kids.

Bob and I were neighbours and good friends. I would look after his house when he went out of town. He loved rhubarb pie and I would sneak into his house when he wasn't home ( on his birthday) and leave a freshly baked, still warm pie on his counter. He couldn't figure out how I got into his house to do this, until he remembered that I had a key to his house for the times he was out of town and I looked after his house! He would always laugh about that. I think it blessed him. He blessed me with his friendship and I will dearly miss him,but will always carry him in my heart!

Bob was a very good friend of my father, Gordie's and used to get together with a group of guys for mid week coffee and Saturday morning breakfast. On many occasions when I could get back to Saskatoon, I would join the "boys" for breakfast and I loved seeing Bob. He always would jump up and pull the chair out for me like I was a celebrity. He was a true gentleman and our family will miss him dearly.

I met Robert in the spring of 1983 at the IATSE District 12 (Western Canada) Off-Year Convention and then again for years at IA Conventions. A true union member whose concerns were always for others. He was an excellent teacher in the ways of trade unionism and it was an honor to call him Brother and friend. To Jocelyn, relatives and the IA family my sincere sympathy. Rest in peace Robert.

We met Bob at Bonanza Restaurant when he was in his 70's & became instant friends. He was so fun loving & happy go lucky, a joy to be around!! He amazed us when he climbed a ladder & painted his house when he was in his 80's. And he loved his food & could pack it away like a teenager!! We'll always miss our friend *Bonanza Bob*!! Sorry for your loss Joss. We're here for you with love!! Take Care
