Robert Corrigan

Dr. Robert (Bob) Corrigan 1928-2022 It is with great sadness the family of Robert (Bob) Corrigan announce his peaceful passing at Cypress House, Swift Current, Sask. on the morning of August 15, 2022 at the age of 93. Bob was pre-deceased by his parents, Vivian and Robert, siblings William, Marion, Anna and Lillian and his wife of 65 years, Gwen. He is survived by daughter, Danah of Rockport, Texas and her children Ryan and Caitlan; daughter, Rhonda (Ken Symenuk) of Swift Current, Sask. and her daughter, Jillian Lavigne (Steven Meldrum); daughter Pamela (Shahid Alvi) of Whitby, Ont. and their children, Megan (Joshua Lemmon) and Erin; son, John (Andrea) of Weyburn, Sask. and his children Michelle (Adam Weikum), David, Nicole and Michael. Three great-grandchildren, Sheldon and Shea Schnitzler and Griffin Weikum. Robert was born August 27, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario. Bob graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1952 and moved to Weyburn, Saskatchewan where he successfully practiced for more than 40 years. He was very involved in his community through various service clubs and with his profession through the Chiropractors' Association of Saskatchewan. He took pleasure in many family outdoor activities including golf, boating, snowmobiling, fishing and even flying kites. Together, he and his wife, Gwen, enjoyed golfing, curling and darts. During his time at Cypress House he was always keen to tune in to watch the Saskatchewan Roughriders and crack a beer, especially if he had company for the game. He loved to play games, Greed for one, and always made sure you knew who won! He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and everyone who knew him. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Cypress House who provided a kind, understanding and compassionate environment.
