I have wonderful memories of Robert Cronquist as the conductor of the Lakeside Symphony. His commentaries on the works performed were both educational and (with his wry sense of humor) entertaining. I miss his physical presence at the symphony performances, but am comforted that his legacy remains a presence at Lakeside.

Bob was a kind, gentle, humourous and impish conductor who had a twinkle in his eye. I enjoyed him and am so thankful I had the pleasure of performing under him, He was such an exceptional person. I am so sorry for your loss.

Sending deepest sympathy to the Cronquist family. Our family (four generations) has appreciated the many, many concerts at Lakeside. May the music and love of music continue through continuing generations.
