My name is Curt Mathews. I feel I'm a failed friend of Bob. I thought I would have more time to express how much he meant to me. Not from his music. He personally reached out to me and thank me. I don't know what I ever did for him to remember me.

I met Bob and Suzy thru my husband who was in an investment club with Bob. Then met Suzy and we were instant friends. I am so sorry for this loss.

I didn't know Bob well, but he was my swimming buddy at the YMCA for the last couple of years. We had the same Monday - Thursday schedule with his good friend Darrell.

My brother was such an inspiration to me! Bob was the Irish Catholic altar boy in Elyria Ohio. He graduated from Elyria District Catholic High School. He was even a member of the Newman Club at Miami University. Bob had such a great sense of humor. You could trust Bob to make the best decisions with his sense of ethics. Bob was the first born and the favorite. He had a good foundation and never changed his strong beliefs. I admired him and will miss him terribly.

Suzi, Bob, and the boys were part of our family in Oregon. We all were so close, we even put gates on our fences in the back so that we could access each other´s houses.
So many fond memories.

I´m so very sorry to hear this. The Dahls were my family´s neighbors in Oregon and Bob and Suzi looked after my brother and me on occasion. Many years later, after my move to Texas, they attended my wedding. Bob was always kind and quick to smile. My deepest sympathy to Suzi and the boys.

I loved playing Amoco Golf with Bob who was usually one step ahead and several strokes better than me. I miss his smile and his upbeat personality. I will always remember that, and my prayers are with Bob and his family.

Hey Bob,
As we used to joke this is your "brother from another mother". Really can't believe I am writing this because I really can't believe you are no longer with us in body. Guess you decided to pick up your wings instead of your clubs and fly to heaven because I am sure that's where you are. However, you will always be with us in mind, spirit and soul.
From the first time Steve Carr brought me to the golf group (10 years ago) you and a number of the other guys befriended me. You even introduced me to members of your family (your grandkids who you loved dearly). We are really going to miss you.
If the grandkids happen to read this I am the old black guy who would kid and joke around with you all.
Hopefully I will see you on the other side.
Your friend forever,
Terence Cooper

Lovely picture of Bobs life. It does not lessen my feelings of loss with he being gone. He was my trusted brother in law who I often looked to for advise. We shared many social times together and looked forward to future events. He brightened my families outlook and I will do my best to continue that beacon in the night.
Rest in peace dear friend.

I fondly remember our many hours we spent together in the car encounter to golf courses for our weekly Amoco games. We talked about many things, but the most notable was he always spoke so highly of his family, his wife Suzy, and how proud he was of his sons and grandsons.. A truly dedicated family man!
We also share a love of gardening, but he was never able to convince me to get up in the middle of the night to go swimming at 5AM at the YMCA!
He was a man of great faith and we often spoke of our mutual Catholic religion.
Rest in Peace, Bob!
