I was so sad to hear of Uncle Bob's passing, it is always hard to lose a loved one. Uncle Bob's kind-hearted ways and soft-spoken approach to life leaves a lasting impression. I was always so impressed by his art; as a kid I felt proud to have a 'real artist' in the family when seeing his art on our walls. The memory of him will last forever....you are all in my thoughts and my heart...love Janet, Jim, Jack and Katie xoxo

Although I am no longer a member at City View United Church, I have many fond memories of Bob from Men's Club and other church related activities. He was a wonderful gentleman in the true sense of the word and I offer my condolences to his family.

So sad to hear this news. Growing up with the Daugherty's (Jennifer) in my childhood was one of the best memories I will cherish. I will always remember what a kind soul your father was. Always welcoming. May you find comfort with your family and friends to guide you through this difficult journey.

Your loving father was one of the best traditional cartographers ever, knowledgeable, keen and always happy to be of service. Bob was my first supervisor at the Survey and always treated me with a lot of respect. He was a good teacher, a good man and he loved his family dearly.

To the family, our sincerest condolences. Knowing Bob (and Eleanor) was a privilege in our church community at City View United. My memory is of a kind, sincere, down-to-earth man with an artistic gift. His artwork is a legacy and a reflection of the man.

I am saddened by your father's passing. I grew up next door to your parents home on Palsen, and I have fond memories of talking with him in the garden, and of playing with my sister beneath the evergreen trees on the border between our properties. My mom and Dad have one of your father's paintings hanging in their home and I often admire it when I visit them.
My sincere condolences on your loss.

Ruth, Bruce and Jennifer we are so sad for your loss. Your Mom and Dad meant more to me than you may have known. Living across from the Daugherty's on Palsen Street was a blessing. I just adored your family. Your father was a kind, peaceful and talented man. Growing up, I watched how he did things and I wanted to be like him.

Growing up across the street from the Daugherty's was a blessing. We all adored the Daugherty's. The passing of Mr. Daugherty has lead me to reflect on what a gentle talented man Mr. Daugherty was. I think he was a good father and I know I used him as a role model to be a good father. I remember my brothers and I going with him on Paper Collection Saturdays for City View United Church.
