ROBERT DEAN Obituary
Bob was born in Norfolk, VA, the son of William H. Dean Sr. and Mabel Andreoni Dean. He grew up in the Roxborough section of Phila., graduated from RHS in 1963 and Temple University in 1966, earning a BS in business.
After graduating from Temple, Bob joined the army, attended officer candidate school and served 14 months in Vietnam as a first lieutenant with the Signal Corp attached to the 46th Engineer Batallion, 1968-69.
Bob was co-founder of Marketing Group, Americor Press, Manor House Publishing and Luxury Pools magazine. With his knack for business and creative problem solving, he was the embodiment of the word entrepreneur.
As a member of AMBUCS, he was active in co-ordinating their benevolent fund raisers.
During his leisure time he enjoyed travel, fine food and wine, spectator sports, a good game of golf and most of all, the company of his friends and beloved family.
Bob was known for his sense of humor, his endless energy and positive outlook on life. He will be dearly and sadly missed by his wife Lani; his son Jeremy (Beth); his daughter Julia (Doug), and 4 adored grand-sons; Gus, Leo, Lars and Ferris.
All are welcome to attend family visitation on June 13th, from 10 A.M. until Noon at Ristorante Castello, 721 W Skippack Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422.

Lani and family,
Doug and I will be thinking of you Saturday. We would have made the trip, but have had a day event planned with the family in Greenville for over 2 months. Just could not rearrange it. Know that we love you and loved Bob too. So glad I got to know him better the September you came down. Don't be a stranger, come again.
