I've only been with OHA a short time but have come to call Jacqueline Delk a friend. She always has a smile in her voice whenever I talk to her. I want her to know that my family's thoughts are with her during this trying time, and all things get better with time. Peace be with you always

My heart and spirit continues to be heavy in the loss of Uncle Robert. Not only will he be missed, but the absence of his sheer presence and laughter will be sorely missed. I was saddened to hear of the loss of Mr. Delk. Buster and I have been friends since childhood and maintained that friendship all of these years. Growing up in Warwick Lawns was fun. I remember Mr. Delk being a nice man; he was a very funny person, and if memory serves me right, he liked cars! Each of you are a reflection of the very best of who he was!

Tracy & Buster, I imagine you might remember us all sharing some good times together during a time when it was fun being young. Even though I have been out of the neighborhood for many years I think of you all from time to time and wish you well.

Robin & Dion, I remember you, but you were a bit younger than our circle of friends. I wish you peace and comfort.

To the Delk family,I was shocked and sadden at news of Robert's passing.Not only was he a class mate of mine,but also a good friend.May his memory always be with our Carver High School graduation class of 1960,his family and friends.He will be missed.May God bless and keep you in his care.

Mrs. Delk, Buster, Tracey, Robin and Dion I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Delk. He was always very kind to me when I was growing up in the neighborhood. Just know that this is all a part of God's eminent plan. Having lost both parents I can tell you that you never get over it, but it does get easier. I was shocked to hear the news of the passing of Robert. My prayers are with the family in the loss of Robert.
Robert and I first met at Dunbar Elementary School. We were competitors in the second grade for lead role in a school play. Needless to say he got the part and the girl (Harriett Short). I was directed to another role in the play. We met again at Carver and had a big laugh regarding the incident at Dunbar. After Carver we went our separate way; he stayed in NN and I had a career in the military. We met again at Carver's 25th Class Reunion and he tried to teach me how to break dance. He was a funny man. I will miss him.
