Robert "Bobby" Denney, age 73, of Columbus, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on September 30, 2017. He was born on September 1, 1944 to the late Robert D. and Dorothy I. (Mather) Denney in Columbus, OH. Bobby would always make you laugh, he would tell some crazy and wild stories, he loved his 41 Willys and going to car shows, fishing and family. He loved his family, he left behind great memories for his family to remember. Robert is survived by wife of 40 years, Diane (Newlun) Denney; daughter, Traci (James) McGuire; granddaughter, Ashley Dean; twins grandsons, Brandon (Paige) and Bryan Dean; great granddaughters, Briley and Kali Blackburn; sister, Betty (Dave) Mast; brother, Larry (Brenda) Denney; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his fur babies. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by sister Diana Colvin. Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service on Friday at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Mifflin Cemetery, Gahanna, OH.
