Hi Ana remember me?
I also had a lot of fun with Bob, for a lot of years.
I was even able to impress him one time in my life when I learned to ride a unicycle in just one day. That was at Arnold's minis & cycles. Remember that?
We went through a lot of good and rough times together chasing his motorcycle carrear. He always stopped by the house when he passed through Arizona to say hello.
One of your son's even stopped by a while ago.
Lonnie, wife & kid. They said they were moving to Arizona. I tried to convince him to go to work for Boeing. That's where I've been working for 23 years.
Just retired in 2024. I'm doing fine.
Question is, how are you?
Each time I pass by that trailer park on Mckellips road I can't help to think about your trailer, the old radio, and the tomally pie!
Good times Ana. Thanks for being a part of it.

I just saw Bob on American Pickers. A rerun Of course but it exposed me to know who Bob was and to see him tickled that the guys wanted to buy some of his jump suits was so heart warming to see. Very sorry for his passing. I am very glad to have learned about Bob.

I just recently learned of Bobs passing. Having lived just a couple of houses down from Bob and Ana for a while back in the 90's, I had the fortune of riding with him and benefiting from his insights in riding skills and wheelie techniques. He was always willing to lend a hand or share his knowledge when it came to motorcycles. He was a pioneer with his stunts. Wish I would have stopped by and said hi earlier. You will be missed.

Gods got a very special man with him now. Bob touched the hearts of many as he knew no enemy’s. I met Bob in the 80s while serving in the Airforce. He helped us obtain emergency assistance for a fallen motorcycle rider. Bob being most skilled and having fastest motorcycle rode to get the fallen rider help. I’ll never forget that day. At the end of the day Bob being the showman performed a few stunts while we (10 to 15 of us) rode back the Holloman Airforce base. Rest in peace Bob, see you soon.

Just watched him on “American Pickers” here in a little village in England . He was such a gentleman and sweet guy, I wanted to know more about him, he’d had such an amazing life. I read several articles and found he was a fellow Christian and had passed earlier this year.God bless Bob now with him and support his wife and family still here on earth

I am so sad to learn of Bob's passing. I wish I had stopped in to see him and Ana during the 50th Reunion. It is never good to wait to do something as important as that. My husband and I were thrilled to watch the American Pickers episode. How fun it was! I had lost track of his life after high school. My heartfelt condolences to Ana, their sons, and all the family.

Condolences to Anna Witherspoon and their family. He and Anna were always the sweetest, kindest people I recall from high school. I missed seeing them at our 50th HS reunion. Bob's obituary does him justice, I had no idea he'd done so much!

Living in LC as a kid, Bob Duffey was a local hero! I loved watching him doing his stunts on his motorcycle. I've often told my children about him, especially when we visit home from Texas. He will dearly be missed. May his memory be a blessing.

I met and was amazed even then at Bob's motorcycle prowess, Deming TT, 1970. Later wife Cindy and I visited Bob and Anna several times in the '70s. Bob offered me a chance to become part of his jump team. I already had my 'plans made, and declined. I was always in awe of Bob's prowess on and love for, motorcycles. I really, really liked this guy. I've never seen anyone that had as much love of and passon for motorcycles. In my mind he has to be Las Cruces' most famous 'son: Jumping over running helicopters, with many different brands of bikes, one even with the motor dead, as they sailed out over all the cars. Wheelies, standup wheelies, wheelies riding backward, world holder of motrocycle land speed record, riding backward, nationwide, worldwide. Long time motorcycle saftey instructor, NMSU. Go with peace Bob. You've made the 'Big Jump now. We will miss you down here; but it won't be too long and we'll be up there with you on your new team.

Bob was a good friend of my Dad Ziggy and would stop at the gas station in Deming. My brother and I would look at the pictures he had and listen to the stories he’d share.
