I always loved seeing his performances on TikTok. A little reprieve from the hard times and scary news. A heart felt song that brought together so many people from around the world. He was loved beyond what he knew. He was humble, kind, and gentle and will be missed

I never got to meet him in person but the song he wrote that sticks most in my head is his lullaby for his niece. Not the words or the tune just the feeling it gave me. I only found out today. We all loved you so much Mr. Kelly. You touched so many hearts.

I never got to meet Bob, I affectionately called him "Granpa" personally, but I got to know him through tiktok. I just learned of his passing today. He was a truly kind, endearing soul. A genuine heart, his loss is felt deeply. I send my heartfelt condolences to the family. I'm so blessed to have been able to cross his path. I'll miss his night lives. I often listened to his streams to help me sleep, and to get through my nightly anxiety. His genuine spirit and heart got me through bad mental health days. He sent me one of the intrepid audience members pins, and I'll treasure it always. Thank you, Granpa. Truly, I'll miss you. I'm glad to have gotten the chance to know you. I'll always remember and I'll always think of you whenever I hear a piano play.

I found Bob through friends on TikTok and enjoyed his singing and outlook on life. Keep singing and shinning down on us all Bob.

Bob was a constant visitor when, during the early '70s, I lived at Charles River Park--and has been for many years now my go-to consultant for a/v set-up, problem fixing, and hands-on re-design. Having known him for over fifty years, I will find his absence a constant sadness. Life will be a little less vivacious now.

Katelynn & Family,
I never got to meet Bob E., however before I became friends with Katelynn, his pandemic melody was a favorite of mine. Then, I meet this beautiful human who happens to be his niece, and it all just makes my heart swell. It sounds like Bob E. was one human we can't afford to lose, and he will be missed so much. My thoughts and heart are holding space for all those who loved him and knew him.

The Fowlers from Cambridge send their sympathy to the Kelly family with Bobby's passing. We are glad we had a chance to see him recently at our brother Paul's memorial calligraphy exhibition last spring. Bobby and Paul had a long history as friends until Paul's passing in 1989.
