Loreta,
I was shocked and certainly sadded to receive the news about Rob. I remember him and what a great guy he was. The thing I remember most - is how much he loved the Lord - and how you both were looking forward to your first kiss on the alter!! It sounds like yall had a wonderful life together. I have thought of you often since I received the news about Rob. You have been and will continue to be in my prayers. love to you, dear friend!

Dear Loretta, Daniel, Phillip, Grace and family:

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Rob. It seems like just yesterday we were all living on Shady Lane, the kids were playmates and you and your family were so much a part of our lives.

Recently, I had reconnected with Rob through his association with CPCC and was so happy to have had the chance to work with him. His professionalism and expertise were evident in the classroom as well as in his personal life.

My deepest sympathy to you during this time of loss. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Please take comfort in knowing Rob is with the Lord and in all the good he did while here on earth. I feel lucky to have been "blessed" with knowing him.

In sincere sympathy,

Melodee Rimland and family

My sincere sympathy for you and your children, Lo. I had only met Rob once and I was so very impressed with him. I know he was a fine father and husband. I am sorry I could not be with you during your time of sorrow. I hope to see you when Joyce and I come over in May to Pattie's. Love, Uncle Wymond

I was so inspired by the beautiful testimonies from Rob's children, his sister and his neices and nephews. THEY comforted us - so eloquently expressing their deep pain and loss, yet their joy and gratefulness that he died at peace with God and with each person he knew. My memories of Rob were of his generosity - spending his talent on helping others...shovelling gravel for the amphitheatre at church, building the enclosure for the trash cans, designing and implementing the food pantry, donating a landscape plan and rendering for NC Community Sailing. His faith mixed with his hard work and skill. One of my favorite memories of him is preaching and quoting whole passages of scripture from memory - his life had such beauty and vitality.

Rob's family, I was so shocked and devastated at hearing this. My thoughts and prayers are with you. The things he enjoyed doing with you and sharing GOD's word with so many. Until we get to see our loved ones that have gone on before. Peace be with you.

I have a brother whom I love but he does not know Jesus. Rob was my brother in so many important ways and certainly the exhortation of a life well lived as Billy so rightly said is one more important way! I am inspired and challenged. The kids were awesome! As much a testimony to you Loreta as to Rob. Love you all. Kim Kyle

The service today was uplifting, meaningful, and comforting. The children's words were incredibly beautiful, a loving tribute to Godly parents, and a super dad who will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with you. Love, Julie and Jack Ritterskamp
