I'm just now hearing of Robs passing and I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure its been a hard couple years dealing with the life changes that comes from losing such a large part of yourself when the one you love passes into heavens gates. Praying tonight that God will bless you Trish and your beautiful daughter. I pray that he surrounds you with angels to attend you and the love of close family and friends.
Gosh its been probably 30 years since Rob & I worked together and I'll always remember as quite the character.... with the biggest heart ever.
Blessings to all.

Happy 61st birthday, Rob. You have been gone from us for two birthdays and two Christmas seasons. We miss you and still can´t believe you aren´t here to tell us your dumb dad jokes and to tell us to pick up the wrapping paper after EVERY opened Xmas gift. I wish I could tell you everything was fine and we are getting along just fine, but we are taking one day at a time and doing what we can. Maybe one day we will have it figured out. Until then, we just try to move on, hopefully in a forward motion.
Love you and miss you!

I met Rob, so weird to use his real name, through a game he loved. I still remember the first time we met. He really was a great person and I´m glad to have known him. Here´s to you RSE/blackbeard/beachbum. And Addi, he talked about you all of the time. His joy and pride for you were clear to the world.

I´ve known Rob for the better part of 30 years. Rob and I are sort of related, his brother is married to my sister. Somewhere around year #2, Rob convinced me to come work with him in the waste/ recycling industry. It´s now been 28 years and I´m still at it, thanks to Rob. If Rob was telling the story he´d tell you I followed him to Florida too. Fact is, I did sort of follow Rob and over the years Rob was still teaching me the industry. As the years went on I continued to make other contacts and friendships through Rob and many of those relationships still flourish to this day. Rob was a giver and never expected anything in return. Even though we lived in separate parts of the state, we would always find time for a long phone conversation. Once in a while he would pop in around Miami and we would have lunch or dinner. Unfortunately, the last few years we spoke less and less but when we did catch up, it was always enjoyable. I will always cherish those conversations. It wasn´t long after Rob had been hospitalized that Chris informed me that Rob was not doing well and I better come say goodbye. To this day I am grateful for the call, I´m grateful for being able to spend the last few hours with Rob, grateful to spend time with Trish & Addie, and grateful for being Rob´s friend. Rest easy Rob.

Rob was a gift from heaven. He called me one day out of the blue, when I needed a professional, but I had not yet defined the role or planned how I would fund it. We agreed to meet a few weeks later and upon meeting, I found a way to hire him. He was so talented and humble that we agreed that he would start with no real title or job description, allowing us to deploy him no matter what was needed. And, he proved, he could do anything because he was smart, positive and empathetic, and always wanted to help others succeed while taking no credit himself. What a wonderful human being who always kept in touch. I really miss this true gentleman.
