Jeffrey Hugh Bryant

age 51 of Sand Rock, passed away Friday, December 20th. Funeral services will be 11:AM Tuesday, December 24th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating; burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8:PM Monday. Pallbearers include Kirk Blankenship, Brent Grimes, Riley Combs, David Kirk, Billy Roche, Brody Moses, Will Clark, Randy Mayorga, Daniel Wooten, Bobby Winters, Wayne Reed, Leigha Blake. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Centre Police Department Reserves. Survivors include his wife, Felicia Jones Bryant; son, Steven Blake Bryant of Jacksonville; step sons. Logan Kent Shortnacy, John Dylan Shortnacy, James Walker Shortnacy all of Sand Rock; daughters, Josey Diane Bryant of Sand Rock, Jessica Leigh-Ann Bryant of Jacksonville; chosen daughter, Allison Suzanne Claridy of Sand Rock; mother, Veltie Barnett Bryant of Gardendale; brother, Stanley (Jan) Bryant of Warrior; sister, Cheril (Bill) Grimmitt of Hanceville; grandson, Kerrigan Bryant. Mr. Bryant was a native of Jefferson County, the son of the late Herbert Lee Bryant, worked for the Centre Police Department, was a mason and was of the Baptist Faith.
