Robert N Emmons Jr

Robert passed away on June 20, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Special thank you to his hospice nurses and doctors that took special care in extending his quality of life. In particular, Liz and Hailey.

Robert was born in Jacksonville, FL, and was a long time resident of Palatka until his move to Connecticut in 2018.

Robert was born to Robert Emmons Sr. (Maine) and Beverly Marlowe (deceased) on August 6, 1964. Robert is preceeded in death by his mother, Beverly Marlowe; sister, Stephanie Slate; grandmother, Gwen Noland; his late wife, Susan Emmons; and grandson, Brandon Bouchez.

Robert is survived by his father, Robert Emmons Sr. (Darlene) of Maine, his wife, Melissa Trepte-Emmons of Connecticut; his children, Brandi Johns of Welaka, Dena Hersey (Clint) of Interlachen, Joseph Lasick (Heather) of New Hampshire, Andrew Lasick (Donnna) of Vermont, Angela Eggeman (Mike) of Indiana, Aiden Franklin (Lily) of Connecticut; grandchildren, Karyssa Snyder, Bradley Bouchez, Abigail Bouchez, Garrett Bouchez, Evelyn Sawyer, Aliyah Johns, Ashley Brantley, Devan McAllister, Dakota Wilson, Jo Dee Flecther, Suzie Hersey, Jake Labounty, Matt Labounty Evan Labounty, Farrah Collins, Kara Lasick, Legend Lasick, Kody Lasick, Joel Gardener, Emily Gardener, Lincoln Franklin, Greyson Duplise, Ethan Wallace, Selena Eggeman, Michael Eggeman; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Above all else, Robert loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved to cook, grill and bake and shared his love of food with everyone he cared about. He loved being outisde and in nature. He was strong in his faith and served God in the best way he knew how through his generosity to his community and acts of service. Robert was an avid fisherman, hunter, wood worker, and carpenter. He was a life long member of the Bass Capital Bass Masters Fishing Club and active in the pro-fishing circuit for many years.

Robert became a volunteer Fire Fighter after his move to Connecticut and proudly served his community for several years before stepping back due to health issues.

Robert also started and ran his own wood working business, created and shared his love for the most whimsical birdhouses, bat-houses, benches and banks,that he made for all of his grandchildren, alongside his wife Melissa for several years before his passing.
