Robert Farr Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 2, 2025.
Robert "Rob" Sherman Farr, 44, passed away on February 28, 2025, in Aurora, New York after a year long battle with heart failure.

Rob was born on July 20, 1980, in Seoul, South Korea. At the age of two and a half, he was adopted by Sherman and Helen Farr, who lovingly raised him. He grew up with a strong sense of family and generosity that would define his life.

Rob attended Novi High School before furthering his education at Michigan State University, where he earned an Executive MBA. His academic achievements paved the way for a career in which he became a mentor to many. His guidance and support left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of learning from him.

Beyond his professional life, Rob had a passion for video games, both on PC and mobile devices. This pastime allowed him to connect with friends and unwind. While he didn't enjoy shopping, he gladly did for his daughters.

Above all else, Rob was known for his generous spirit and unwavering kindness. He was always giving to others, ensuring that those around him felt supported and valued.

Rob is survived by his beloved wife, April; his children, Alexander, Madison, and Sarah; and his sister, Melissa (Jim) Freers. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will cherish his memory. He was predeceased by his parents, Sherman and Helen Farr.

Rob's legacy of generosity and mentorship will continue to inspire those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who loved him.

Rob will be cremated per his wishes in New York with services to follow in Michigan.

My best friend for over 25 years. One of the few truly good people I've ever been lucky enough to have known. His love for his family and friends was immeasurable. I consider myself so lucky to have known and been able to call him my friend.
