Marg, I am so sorry for your loss, Bob meant the world to me. Right now I am in Michigan visiting my son's family, so Kevin just texted me that Bob had passed. I have my note from him that I received last week, it meant so much to hear from him. You take care and I will get in touch when I get home.

Love,

Marge and family, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. Bob was such a wonderful person and so nice to me when I volunteered at the food pantry. I know there are no words that could ease your pain at this time, but my prayers are with you, and hope that the love of family and friends will help comfort you in the days ahead. May Bob's legacy continue to live on in your hearts.

I would like to express my sincere sympathy to Bob's wife and family. Bob replaced me as American Legion Post 7 chaplain and I got to know him very well during the transition. He was a very caring and compassion person. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

My Family and I have been blessed to have known this wonderful man for the past 15 years or so. In that time, Bob has been like a family member to us.... he has been a great friend to me and like another Grandparent to my kids who love him dearly. Such a giving man who always was there for his own family as well as everyone else's. My Town lost a Legend and I cant imagine what his own family is going through right now.... We are blessed to have so many great memories of this guy who never missed a family event .... loved everyone and everything this world has to offer. Robert Farrand is the standard ALL Fathers should strive to achieve!
Condolences to his family and Thank You for sharing this Wonderful ,Caring and Special Man !!!

I have had the great privilege of knowing my wonderful brother-law for over 50 years. He was what you would call a true gentleman. He and my husband Leo were very close. They spent hours walking on beaches in Sanibel. He will be missed greatly.

I have had the honor and privilege to have served with Bob on the executive board of American Legion Post 7, for many years. He was a true gentleman and was certainly a dedicated servant to the town of Easton's veterans' community as well as the entire town. His faith and values were true. I will miss his guidance at the meetings as well as his readings from our Legion bible. Godspeed my friend. To Bob's family, from all of the current and past members of the Post, please accept our sincerest condolences and prayers.

Commander - Easton's American Legion Post 7.

I met Bob through attending the wakes of local veterans. Bob impressed me as a kind compassionate and friendly man. I only knew him a few years but I liked and respected him very much. Many of us in the Easton Veteran community will miss him. Rest in peace good and faithful servant.
