I had the privilege to sit with Robert and just talk about his life, the love for his wife and family, but mostly about his thoughts on the hereafter. He was of good character and he practiced kindness. RIP Bob, you were loved and will be missed.

The Feldheims share the same house number (341) as our family home - one street over - in our two street neighborhood. Frequently, throughout the nearly two decades that we were neighbors, I would get his mail, and he would get mine. Since 2006, we faithfully exchanged each other´s mail to one another. We would usually write each other a brief greeting on the envelope before slipping the misdirected mail back into one another´s mailbox. One of my favorite notes from Bob said "Well, they did it again!" About 10 years ago, he called me, profusely apologizing that he somehow overlooked. He was very conscientious and caring. He will be missed from our Tuscany Ridge neighborhood. My heart goes out to the family as they have suffered a great loss with the passing of both Bob and Ruth over the last year. My personal interactions with Jessica and Joanna this year had a tremendous impact on my life, and I consider that tumultuous time one of the most precious experiences for me in this neighborhood, as I witnessed those two sisters be warriors with strong, determined, yet gentle, spirits that got them through some of the most difficult experiences that daughters would have to face. I never met the other two sisters, but I send them love as well.
