To my best friend Bobby boy. We met sometime in the mid 1990´s at the Pointe restaurant and lounge in Bloomingdale, IL. Where we also both lived. After that it was a union of two friends. I can say that we more than likely did it all together. Lived a great life and shared a lot of memories.
Meeting Asta was the highlight of his life. He just loved that lady. I was happy for him. Bobby boy, remember the snake shake down Schick rd. Heading home after a night at the pointe? It´s a good thing we knew the Chief of Police in Bloomingdale. He was our guideing light home.
I miss you dearly ole´ buddy. Godspeed to ya´ up in the heavens.
I can´t help thinking of the good times.
It makes me feel better in these sorrowful times.
God speed my friend and may the Lord watch over you.
I miss you buddy.

I´ll never forget getting stuck in the blizzard of `67 with you, Patti and Bob. Also how you made the best eggs. Even though I haven´t see you since we were kids I´ll never forget you :,(

Bobby- you were a great friend of my childhood. I'll always remember the sleepovers, all-night Monopoly games and listening to the Monkees. God bless and keep you. Condolences to all of the Ficos and warmest remembrances of Patty, Ricky and Linda. Bob Ryan

Thank you for being with us throughout all these years. Bob's kindness and love for all of us will leave an indelible mark. Not having any blood relatives in the US, Bob and Asta had no problem being my aunt and uncle. They are the reason I never had to envy others with big families on holidays. I remember how Bob used to make pancakes for Kleja and I, how his contagious laughter warmly enveloped us all, and how he enjoyed cigars, fedoras, and funky shirts. These were genuine and sincere moments that we will all cherish. The world can be so cruel; taking away such a kind soul, but how lucky are we to have had him in our lives. Bob, you will ALWAYS be missed and your impact on my life will always be remembered.

Bob was a great friend and neighbor. Many great nights talking, watching music and enjoying adult beverages. Bob could really rock a fedora. It was truly my pleasure to be able to get to know him and Asta. God speed Bubba, we´ll miss you greatly.

Loved by all, cherished by many, a loving and generous soul. Bobby had a passion for life and saw beauty in things that typically went unnoticed by others. A creative and artistic flare that stamped his legacy as an individual expressionist. He embraced the simple things and celebrated special moments with enthusiasm and gratitude. Unwavering friendship with altruistic gestures of kindness selflessness. He will be forever missed, but his memories will be apparent by everything that surrounds us. Love you Bojangles.

I loved having him as a neighbor for so long, he was always so nice and smiley and friendly! He once taught me to open the cap of empty water bottles and squish them down to save space in the recycling bin. Ever since then, 7 years ago, I think about him every time I recycle a water bottle!

Dear brother, I am deeply saddened by your passing! I wish I could´ve seen you during the last two years (I tried). And more importantly, as brothers I wished we could have been closer and had a truly familial relationship. Although we had our differences, we could have been more brotherly toward each other. You were a good man and you will missed greatly, Witt eternal love, your brother Ricky.
