I have a great respect for Bob Fine. I met Bob when he was trying to persuade the city to find a solution for river flooding in our neighborhood. As the city and the Army Corps of Engineers decided to build a deep tunnel solution, he oversaw carefully and communicated his thoughts. Thanks Bob...
After that, I'd see Bob as he came and went, sometimes with tennis gear, sometimes with groceries. We'd chat. Good man all around. I'm lucky I met him.

Sorry for your loss. Mom has made sure to keep me updated through the years. Time marched us right past family club meetings, special occasion meetings, to this. May his memory be a blessing

I feel so fortunate to have known Bob Fine. He was one of the finest people I have had the privilege to have known. Bob helped a lot of people in a lot of ways, and I was lucky enough to be one of them. Talking with Bob at home or on the phone was always so pleasurable. The conversations would go on and on and Bob would always say (and to make a long story short) and then keep going for another twenty minutes or so, but it fun for me to listen, and converse with him because he was so interesting, and his stories had a certain pace to them. Our condolences to Marla, and Larry, He was truly one of a kind and we were lucky to have known him, and Beryl. All our love, Dennis, and Maureen Apostol.
