ROBERT "BOB" F., Jr.
Age 69, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017. Son of the late Robert F. and Grace (Nave) Flannery, Sr.; beloved husband of Dolores J. (Birek) Flannery; loving father of Robert F. Flannery III; brother of Kevin (Susan), Patrick (Sheila) and Shawn (Pam) Flannery. Also survived by nieces and nephews. No Visitations. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Apostles Parish, St. Albert The Great Church, 3198 Schieck St., Pittsburgh, PA 15227. Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date. Bob worked for Federated Investors, Inc. for 32 years as Director of Security and Life Safety who enjoyed working to keep his fellow employees safe and his co-workers were like family to him. He was a combat veteran of the Vietnam War who served with the Special Forces. Arrangements are entrusted to the READSHAW FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick, (412-882-3850). BOBBY WAS A CLASS ACT.I'M SO SORRY FOR THE FAMILY, AND THE WORLD THAT WE LOST A GREAT GUY LIKE BOBBY.I ALSO REMEMBER BOBBY WORKING AT DAUKS. My condolences to the Flannery Family when I was young my father, brother and myself would go up to Dauk's beer distributor on Saturday s we got regent pop and my Father Iron City and Bob always waited on us, he was an easy going,kind, soft spoken man and very Intelligent.It was my Pleasure growing up in Southside with all the Flannery s.
