I have been trying to get in touch with Eva by phone this last year, but was unsuccessful. Eva befriended me at LDS hospital when I was a volunteer at the front desk. She suggested that I apply for work at the call center for the hospital, which I did. It was wonderful working with Eva. I always found her to be very kind and welcoming, and we had many good moments together as we shared our life's experiences with one another. She was a very special and refined lady. I know that she was a very loving mother and grandmother. She appreciated her many friends, and especially her very loving boyfriend, Ron, who was so devoted to her, and called her every day, as well as being a wonderful companion in every way. I will miss her, knowing she has passed on from this earthly existence, but so grateful that our paths did pass several years ago. I extend my deepest condolences to her immediate family. She was always so proud of all of you. With love, Emily Miles-Birtcher.

I am sorry for your loss. Eva was a beautiful, grand lady, soft spoken and always gracious. Working with her at LDS Hospital on the switchboard was a delight. She had great work ethics. She loved her family very much and was very proud of them. Everyone who knew her will miss her.

Eva was always the sweetest lady. I loved her dearly. Every single day, she'd pull me aside and ask me to make her bed because she always thought I did it the best. We laughed like best friends and she told me almost everything about her life. I'll miss her so much!

I was so sorry to hear of Eva's passing.
I had the privilege of working with Eva as an operator at LDS Hospital. She was a wonderful friend and I will miss her very much. From day one Eva made me feel so comfortable and was so kind and helpful if I had any questions at work or in my life.
She was a real lady with a soft, sweet voice and she always took pride in her dress and looked so nice.
Eva would always talk about how proud she was of her family and how much she loved them.
I pray for His spirit to be with Eva's family during this difficult time and until they meet again.
