I can’t believe 20 years has passed since Robert left us to be with the Lord. We keep him in as much conversation as possible so his memory stays vivid. We all miss him dearly and pray one day we will be reunited. Love you, Robert

Robert I keep you on my vehicles still. I miss ya a-lot buddy and remember the epic times we had talking crap to the opposing team in kickball. And I remember we'd have mello yellow's before class with a glazed doughnut. We had no idea about diabetes back then. Hahahha

Dear friends & family, Robert will be missed greatly by us all. We are all asking why this had to happen but the answer is not for us to know now. Robert and I just the day before were talking about what he wanted to do after high school, He told me that he wanted to work with me in the business and take some classes at U.A.L.R. dealing in something to do with construction. He died doing what he loved. If he had to be in that bed the the rest of his life that would have been his hell here on earth. We had 17 years of heaven with him while he was here with us. One of his friends told us that Robert never was to busy to stop and talk even if it put him behind in what he had to do. He was there for you as long as you needed him. HE would work his grandfather at our new lake house on weekends to pay off a loan that they gave him for his blazer. Dad would come home and say how unusual he was because Robert would never ask when they were leaving or when thet were going home. I will repeat again Robert was there for you as long as you needed him. We had one miracle to get him out of E.R. and a friend told us that she realy thought that God sent his angel for Robert the day of the accident but Robert being such a good son asked God not yet for he had to say good- by first. I believe the next 5 days were the second miracle for it gave us time to say good-by and all tell him it was ok. If anyone says L.R. is not a good place to live they must not belong to a church group. It was amazing how fast the prayer chain traveled and the support was unbelievable. Without the prayers and support of our friends and family I do not think we could have made it through this trying and difficult time. Just to see your face in the halls of the hospital was uplifting in its self, for no words were needed, just your presience there was enough. I thank you for your prayers and support through this trying time but please keep praying for our family for the hard times are not over as of yet. God bless you all, Gary Flynn

It's difficult to find words to express how sorry we are for your loss. Although we are neighbors, sadly we never got to know Robert. I understand he was a wonderful young man. He would wave as he drove by and I often remember him practicing his duck calls out front. (he was quite good) From what I have heard he was simply an all American "good kid."
