Robert "Foldy" Folderauer Obituary
Born on September 11, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, Robert dedicated his life to service and family. He was a proud graduate of Mergenthaler and went on to serve with distinction in the Baltimore City Fire Department. Over the course of his 30-year career with Truck 15 and an additional six years in the Fire Marshal's Office, he demonstrated unwavering commitment to protecting his community. His dedication and bravery left a lasting impact on those who served alongside him and the many lives he touched throughout his career.
Robert is lovingly remembered by his wife, Melanie A. Folderauer; his sons, Scott J. Folderauer and R. Glenn Folderauer; his daughters-in-law, Cynthia L. Folderauer and Kristi C. Folderauer; his cherished grandchildren: Ryan Folderauer, Jessica Folderauer, Samuel D'Onofrio, Sydney D'Onofrio, Kyle D'Onofrio, and Gabriella D'Onofrio; and his sister Lynne F. Wilmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtle Folderauer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined.
Robert's legacy of dedication and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
