Barbara - David and I were your former neighbours on Governors Court and we were so very saddened to hear of Bob's passing. We will always remember Bob for his love of flowers, particularly the dahlias, which he grew with such pride and passion. He was a very thoughtful, kind, caring person and was greatly respected through the community as well as being a tower of strength. Our sympathy and condolences are with you.

Auntie Barb,
I am soo blessed to have you and Uncle Bob in my life. I have many wonderful memories of Uncle Bob growing up. He was a very gentle person with a wonderful laugh. I will always remember when I was little asking if I could smoke his pipe. I loved the smell! Homemade caramel popcorn that you guys would make from scratch for all of us at Christmas..it was better than the presents! Then as I got older , the talks him and I would have as I started my career and his words of advice. Rozina will never forget working hard for her "report card money" and Uncle Bob giving her 50 dollars in loonies..they were very heavy in her pocket.I am glad that he was able to meet Kashton.I will have many stories to tell him about his Uncle Bob. I know that Uncle Bob is looking down on us with Nana and Papa and smiling as we talk about him and our special memories and the great things that he did. He will always be in our hearts and thoughts. We will miss him very much and are very lucky that you are part of our family. We love you!!

Dear Barb, Just to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I have many fond memories of the wonderful trip I shared with you and Bob. During the many occasions I have had to be in your company, I was struck by Bob's warmth and humor. Hold close your memories. Take care.

Hi Barb,
You have to know that all of your friends share in the sadness of your loss. Although I only met your husband on a few occasions, there was no question that he was an individual with trementdous integrity, and I just know that he was very very proud of you, as was I.
Should you be over my way any time in the future, please don't hesitate to let me know, and hopefully we can reflect on the good old days over a coffee and a bite to eat!.
Warm regards, Jim Fair

Hi, Barb. So sorry to hear this sad news. Bob was an exceptionally wonderful person. The world needs many more like him. I will never forget him and how nice it was to have him working with us. I am so glad I went to Gary's retirement and got to see Bob there. You have my deepest condolences and I will see you at the Memorial on Oct. 6th. All staff here have been e-mailed a copy of the obituary as it appears in The Province on-line. Take care. Love from Marg.

Was so sad to hear about Bob......I have many happy memories of Bob, when I was a little girl growing up in Vancouver with Allyson and Bernice.....But the one that will always be with me is when Bob would try to get us all to go to sleep at the same time, we never made it easy for him! My thoughts are with you at this time....
