Robert Fraioli, 67, passed away on April 17, 2014 at his home in Modesto, CA. He was born on April 20, 1946 in Providence, Rhode Island to his parents Pasquale and Livia Fraioli. Robert leaves behind his loving wife of 23 years Lisa Fraioli, his loving children Greg Fraioli (Danielle) and Jennifer Elizabeth Fraioli, his grandchildren Matthew Daugherty, Alexander Daugherty, Dominic Daugherty, and Robert Fabun, and his siblings Tom Fraioli (Vikki) and Michael Fraioli (Carol). Robert loved his family so much, and truly cherished the special moments he spent with them. Robert's greatest passion was sailing. He loved doing anything outdoors including hiking, biking, golfing, exploring Yosemite and enjoying the wonders of the world. In his early years, he served as a National Guardsman. He worked as a Spanish teacher and Resource Specialist. Then he went on to become a school psychologist for Stanislaus Union School District for many years. Upon retiring, he continued to serve as a school psychologist and consultant for other schools within Stanislaus County. He was an outstanding advocate for special education students, and an amazing educator. He served as a proponent for many community organizations as well. He worked as a clinical psychologist for over 40 years. Robert will be greatly missed by all. Franklin & Downs Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Fraioli Family. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 4:00 P.M.  -  7:00 P.M., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Franklin & Downs Colonial Chapel  -  704 12th Street in Modesto. A Mass will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church  -  1813 Oakdale Road in Modesto. Donations may be made to Community Hospice of Modesto.
