I send my condolences to the familly. I know when I lost a loved one the scripture at Acts 17:31 brought me some comfort so maybe it will help you too. I hope the best for the family.

On behalf of Bob's many friends from our local West Point Society and Service Academy Assn, I pass along condolences and prayers to the Gadd Family. I had the opportunity to sit with Bob several times over the last year at local functions (I followed Bob at West Point by 30 years and enjoyed being called a "young" man).
We will miss the stories of Pittsburgh and the warm fellowship.
Be thou at peace.

Dear Robert and George,
I am writing this on behalf of my mom, your dad's cousin, Bernice. You may have heard your dad talk about her as I have heard my mom talk about your dad. They were close in age; my mom turned 90 in December and, they shared a bond growing up that was invaluable to mom and I believe your dad treasured those experiences as well. In recent years, they spent several hours some Sunday evenings reminiscing about the antics they did as youngsters and got in trouble for and about Aunt Anna, your wonderful grandma who holds a special place in all of our hearts. My brothers and I still talk about the times spent at her house. Your dad was a delightful man and one that I am sure you are proud of. I was able to meet him when he came to Pittsburgh for your aunt Mary Jane's birthday and was happy to hear some of the stories first hand. I know my mom will miss him and those conversations with him and that he will always be special to her; the brother she never had. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time and we extend our sympathies and condolences to all of the Gadds.
Sincerely,
