Robert C. Gaffney

As I am just finding out about this now, I offer my deepest sympathies to the entire Gaffney family and am so sorry for your loss. Especially to my old co-worker Janet and Bobby´s kids...Katy and Bobby. Your dad was all you described him to be and he will always be within you. May he rest in Heavenly peace.

Work together for 16 years in maintenance at Magellan aerospace Bethel CT,

I worked with Bob at Coherent. We were both supervisors and the last two years that he was there, we shared an office together. He always had a smile on his face, and was a pleasure to work with. He was a hard worker. Always staying busy, helping out co-workers when they had questions or problems. He loved working with his hands, and was very knowledgeable. I know everyone who knew him at Coherent would say that he will be missed. My condolences to his family.

He did a little tinkering at our house sometimes. My kids called him Bob the Builder and we used to sing the song when he came to our house. What an amazing human! Filled with joy and laughter. He will be missed

While I never had the pleasure of meeting Bobby, I can imagine what a fine man he was, given the wonderful qualities of his his son Bobby. May he rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his family.
