Bob was my roommate at courage Kenny in 2018. I vividly remember him bending over me as I slept. Awakening me. He was always a kind, gentle person while we roomed together, a true Mensch. Mike McNee

Met Bob 32 years ago at the local Samoyed breed club. Worked at their warehouse sale for 20 years & he was so kind and caring of my family over the years. Always ready to chat and listen to everyone, will miss our talks during breaks at the sale. Wishing Barb and the family peace and comfort in your memories.

We are so glad we knew Bob as a Samoyed Club member. His humor and love for the breed was a joy to be around, and his dedication to doing whatever needed doing was a respected and valued trait over many years. He and Barb are amazing people and friends, and we will hold Bob close in our memories. Our deepest sympathies to Barb and the Gage family.

When my husband and I became members of our local Samoyed Club we had the privilege of meeting Bob and Barb. They immediately stood out as the kindest people you'll ever meet, always ready to lend a helping hand. Bob became especially known for his great cooking skills, providing breakfast and lunch at our specialties, agility trials, as well as cooking all the meals during the club's camping trips and picnics. Bob will always have a place in our hearts. He will be sorely missed.

We really miss Bob. He was such a kind, generous person... so helpful at our Samoyed club events. He always seemed willing to lend a hand when one was needed particularly in grilling or food prep at Agility trials or at our annual Samoyed club picnic. Our deepest sympathy to the family. I met Bob through Barb when she had horses with me. Bob would come to the horse shows and when we were at the show in Eau Claire there was a Shakeys Pizza next to the motel, Bob always would order the "Left Handers Special"/ I think we all loved food, but Tuesday nights at Chi Chi's was one of our favorite get togethers. Bob had a great sense of humor and was always fun to be around. Such great times will never be forgotten!

So sorry to hear of Bob´s passing. He was a generous and thoughtful man who would help with anything for the Samoyed Club. I have missed his smile and kindness over the past few years. So glad he was in the wonderful environment of the VA hospital these past months.
My condolences to the family for their loss.
