In her touching words, Tina beautifully captured the spirit and strength of her beloved dad, Bob, reflecting a bond rooted in love, gratitude, and deep respect. Her tribute not only honors a life well-lived but also reminds us of the enduring connection between parent and child. Tina´s words serve as a moving reminder of the legacy Bob left behind: one of love, kindness, and unwavering support to his family.

It is truthful to say "They don't make them like him anymore"! I loved Dr. Gibbs and who loves going to the dentist? I had no idea of his heroism but I knew he was a wonderful man. I got braces late in life, high school, because I knocked out a front tooth playing kickball in Holly Hein's hallway in her home on the Elmhurst College campus. Kids, don't try this. I did see stars as Holly yelled for her mother...I also love his choice of music too. Sincere condolences to his family and friend and he had a life well lived.

Dr. Gibbs was like a father to me as well as my Orthodontist. Growing up with Tina as my sister was the best. Summers in Lake Geneva with the Gibbs family has always been some of my favorite childhood memories. Dr. Gibbs was a pro at grilling, sailing and water ski lessons. His calm presence and kind heart always made me feel like part of the family.

I was a patient of Dr Gibbs when I was a young girl in elmhurst. 1959 or so I had horrible metal braces!! My teeth are still beautiful and straight at 78. I do think of going through that when braces were not that popular! And still remember him to this day.
