It is April 29, 2017 11:06 PM PST. I am writing from Las Vegas, NV and I want to send my condolences to the Robert Godwin Sr. family. I just watched a portion of the funeral and I can't stop crying. We are in the last days and we wrestle not against flesh and blood but powers, princes, and principalities. I can't image the hurt, pain, and grief you are feeling. Lord knows I have had my share of hurts, disappointments, and trauma. I am currently getting counseling for these issues, because I don't want my anger, bitterness, and resentment to spiral out of control and lead to the loss of life (mine or someone else), loss of my career, damaged relationships, etc. I feel moved to write this and I hope you are encouraged. There are times I feel like giving up, but what keeps me going is knowing Satan's time is short. Yes, he walks like a roaring lion seeking to devour as he knows his time is running short. Know and ponder this, that those in the grave will hear a LOUD SHOUT and rise again. Also, know and ponder that Jesus WILL SOON RETURN. The veil that separates our realm from the heavenly realm will be pulled back and HE will come charging out of the heavens on a white horse with the angelic host, ready to do battle with the Enemy. Come Lord Jesus Come. I apologize for the long message, I have never written a condolence for someone I don't know. But, I felt moved to encourage the family of Robert Godwin, Sr..

My husband and I had several brief conversations with Mr. Godwin, mostly about fishing, over the past several years, the last one was several days before his untimely death. We were neighbors. He was always smiling and pleasant. We are so very sorry and devastated. God sees your tears and feels your pain. Throw all your anxieties on the Lord because he cares for you. Deepest sympathy.
