Robert Edward Goemans came into this world on April 16, 1939, and was personally invited to join Our Lord on October 3, 2017.
Robert Edward Goemans, (Bobby) was born on April 16, 1939, and was personally invited by our Lord into heaven on Oct. 3, 2017. His birth took place in Queens, NY to Richard and Helen Goemans. He had 5 sisters and 1 brother. All but one are deceased. He was a man of great stature, great pride, and a man who was always there at anytime for those who might need his help. Bob served his country during the Korean War. He was married to Carole Goemans for 17 and 1/2 magnificent years and counted as his own her 3 daughters and all of their grandchildren.
Bob was a master craftsman who built at least 100 homes, which received multiple accolades. He also worked on a number of projects in his community, using his skills and putting his heart into each one. A fantastic Sudoku Champ, he wrote a book called 'SUDOKU PUZZLES', full of tricks and explanations that people loved.
Obviously, a man for all seasons who had so much to boast about, he was extremely humble and often just grinned his famous shy little grin (refer to photo) . Bobby's cause of death was the dreaded disease of Alzheimer's from which he suffered for 4 years. I would encourage all of you to walk when there are published Alzheimer's walks in your area if you are able, or to contribute anything that you are able to help find a cure.
Our love was a love like nothing else that I had ever experienced. Never a day without an 'I love you and always will'. And now I realize that what we get at the end of our lives together...all of the material things...don't matter at all. What matters is that I had him, and he had me.
In closing I would like to simply say: My Dearest Bobby, I wish that Heaven had a phone line so that I could hear your voice again, and I could call you no matter where-no matter when...I have so many memories from which I'll never part. God has you in His arms, and I have you in my heart. It was such an awesome privilege to be called YOUR WIFE. I thank you for giving me the best part of my life.
I love you my Bobby and I always will.

Mr. Bob, my boss, my friend...I miss seeing you everytime I came to clean your home. We would talk than I cleaned. I still remember when I helped you fixed that carpet. I wasn't much help, but you didn't snap at me. I know you will be around my Carole and I feel your presence everytime I come to see you. I will love you forever! Teresa~~~~

My Sweet Love, It's 2:00 am, and I miss you just like I did last night at 9:00 pm and just like I will miss you tomorrow when I wake up without you. Knowing that you are in heaven now without worry or pain is such a consolation for me. The thought of you being happy and full of energy and smiling and probably even dancing up there absolutely thrills me. Be happy my love, and although I'm sure it'll take a while ( God has a lot of work to do on me yet, please save me a seat right by yours. Good night my Bobby as you sleep with the angels. Your proud and loving wife...Carole XX
