Robert Goldman

Robert W. "Bob" Goldman, 90, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Bob lived a life marked by service, dedication, and deep love for his family. He proudly served in the United States Army from November 1956 to November 1958. Following his military service, he embarked on a distinguished career with the Massachusetts State Police, serving from 1962 until his retirement in 1983. A decorated veteran of the force, Bob was forever proud to have been a Trooper-a role that defined much of his professional life and earned him the respect of colleagues and community alike.

After retiring from law enforcement, Bob continued to serve others through entrepreneurship. From 1983 to 1996, he owned and operated a business that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Bob's greatest joy came from his family. He shared a loving marriage with his wife Ruth (Grossman) Goldman. Together they raised four children: Laura Miller and her husband David; Nancy Griffin and her husband John; Michael Goldman and his wife Ann; and Jo Pelletier and her husband Michael. Bob took immense pride in being a grandfather to Ellen, Nathan, Robert, Kaitlin, Justin, Kyle, Alex, and William. His love for his grandchildren was boundless-he cherished every moment spent with them.

Known for his amazing sense of humor and unwavering devotion to those he loved, Bob brought warmth and laughter into every room he entered. His legacy lives on not only through the family he adored but also through the countless lives he touched during his years of public service.
