Robert Howard Goodman
Robert Howard Goodman, aged 71, passed away on November 27, 2024, in Lufkin, Texas.Robert is survived by his wife, Darlene Goodman; honorary daughter, Cutie Pie (the dog); daughter, Denise Bishop; son and daughter-in-law, Trent and Kimberly Goodman; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Caitlyn and Reagan Fry; grandsons, Alex Bishop, Lane Goodman, and Tristen Goodman. He also leaves behind his sisters and brothers-in-law Janie and Bobby Lowery, Sandra and Eddie Pahal, Kathy and Danny Alsbrooks, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mittie and Robbie Lee Goodman.
Robert cherished his time hunting, gardening, and immersing himself in a good book. Robert's overalls were his trademark, worn for every occasion, a testament to his unpretentious nature and focus on what truly mattered, his family and friends.
Robert was a loved father and grandfather and was truly the anchor of his family, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
Memorial/Visitation will be December 7, 2024 from 4p-6p at the Goodman Home.

Dear Darlene, Janie, Sandra, Kathy and the whole family, ---- Robert was a wonderful cousin with down-to-earth authenticity and a giving heart, always welcoming and fun to visit when we came in from out-of-town. I remember the great in-home care Mittie received in her final years, as well. May God's love guide each of you during this time of sorrow, and may you find solace in His care.
