Robert Alan "Bob" Guile

Robert Alan Guile Sr., passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2024, at the age of 81 in Norfolk, Virginia. He was born on January 16, 1943, in Ellsworth, Maine to Woodrow Wilson Guile and Viola Mae (Cloutier) Guile and survived by sister Norma (Guile) Kornacki, currently living in Norwich, Ct.
Bob married his childhood sweetheart Rosemary (Chapman) Guile on July 16, 1964. This July they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Together they have 4 children, Robert Guile Jr. (Sue), Leann Baez (Kerry), William Guile (Ellen) and Lisa Plourde (Gil).
Bob loved his 10 Grandchildren and enjoyed making memories with them. Aaron, Jeremy, Rebecca, Brandyn, Kassandra, Maggie, Dustin, Brooke, Nickolas and predeceased by Kourtney, He also had numerous great grandchildren, nephews and cousins.
Bob was a jack of all trades owning his own plumbing business where numerous people in town would rely on Bob to fix anything around their house. Bob was a volunteer with the Mohegan Fire Department in Uncasville, Ct. He enjoyed going to Mohegan Sun Casino and watching Ct Sun basketball. He loved watching his sports on TV, Nascar and Patriots were his favorite.
No funeral service will be held. Family are celebrating his life privately.
