It's been a month, buddy.... miss you... Still surreal. Although you're gone, your love remains, and you will never be forgotten. RIP, brother.

Knew Robert at SDSU and was greatly saddened to hear of his untimely passing. I believe he is eligible to have his name included with other combat veterans at the SDSU Veteran's Memorial. My condolences to his family and others who loved him. Thank you, Robert, for your service. You gave it all.

May this promise help you cope with your tremendous loss.(Isaiah 2:4) . . .And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore. . .

Our deepest condolences to all of Robert's family. Reading his obituary, I am reminded of a quote, " We are not measured so much by the number of years in our life, but by the life in our years." We are grateful for the legacy he left in courageously defending our freedoms by his service. He lived a lifetime in his short years. He died a Hero, and loved by many. He sits at the right hand of God and knows the peace he sought for in life. There is no death, only resurrection.
