Robert H. (Bobby) Baker III

Robert H. Baker III, also known as Bobby, passed away on January 10th, 2023. He was born in November of 1961, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Robert (Bob) II and Margaret (Robbins) Baker. It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing.

Bobby was a man of many interests and passions. He loved Indy Car Racing, particularly the Indy 500, and was a devoted fan of all Illinois sporting teams, including his beloved Chicago Bears. He was also an avid music lover, a talented artist in his younger years and deeply cherished his role as a grandfather to his three beautiful grandchildren.

Bobby was known for his strong will and outgoing personality. He was faithful to his family and was deeply loved by them. He is survived by his parents, Bob and Margaret Baker, his daughter Krystal (Sean) Harris, his brother Joe (Kathy) Baker, his grandchildren Allisseanne Britt, Levi Byrum and Lillian Harris, his nephew Hayden Baker, and many cousins, aunts, and extended family.

Bobby is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Robert H. Sr and Elta (Lashbrook) Baker; maternal grandparents Ernest Robbins and Grace (Hall, Robbins) Dietz; sister Elta Dawn Baker; uncles George and wife/aunt Vicki Baker, Leon and Kenton Robbins, aunt Karen "Elaine" and husband/uncle Ronnie Walker; great aunt Ethel Robbins. Cousins Mike Robbins, Deanna (Robbins) Cook, Jeffry "Scottie" Lovell and Timothy "Timmy" Cooper.

Bobby's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on. A private Celebration of Life will be held by close family and friends to honor Bobby's life and legacy. May he forever rest in peace.
