1955 to 2017
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Hackett on July 27, 2017 at the age of 61 years.
He is remembered with love by his son James (Nicola), his siblings Colleen (George), Mary- Jean (Craig), and James (Joanne), and his nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Grace, and his brother, Ian.
A Memorial Service for Bob will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service North Chapel, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Ave, Edmonton. Final resting place at a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Venta Care Centre who cared so much for Bob during his time there.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the Salvation Army. In living memory of Robert Hackett, a small grove of trees will be planted in the reforestation efforts following the Fort McMurray wildfire.

It has now been over 4 years since my Father passed. In April my wife and I had our first child, and I am left wishing my Father was here to meet his Grandson. Now that I am a Father I am reminded me of just how much you must have loved me and done for me. Memories are a small comfort, and photographs, but I am missing you every day.

Our sincerest condolences to Roberts family. It is hard losing one you love. The Angel companions, especially Theresa, will miss this kind, non-demanding, happy man who loved his cars and sports.
