Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Hallisey family. I remember hanging out at the chaotic family Christmas gatherings years ago and Bob would be wearing his pharmacist tie with the pills on it. I did find here one picture of Bob from Gretchen's wedding.

Bob was a mentor in a way. Besides my own family, he ran a very personal, friendly pharmacy. The kind we rarely see anymore. I have no doubt that he will be very missed. My dad loved to golf as much as he did, and I am also sure that they will hit 18 in Heaven.

My prayers go out to the Hallisey Family, I had the privilege of working with such a great man, He will be truly missed.
In those quiet moments in the still of the night
Remember to rejoice and celebrate life
Do not think of me gone and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on the grain
I am the gentle autumn's rain
When you awaken in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in flight
I am the soft stars that shine
You will hear my gentle voice
and remember to rejoice
Never give up your fight
and remember always
to Celebrate Life.... ~ Anon

All my thoughts sent to the Bushnell family. What a great man and phenomenal life. I was blessed to visit his pharmacy as a young child with my grandmother and also became friends with his grandson Tom. He was an amazing person and I feel blessed to have experienced a small glimpse. He and Maureen made the summers at the reservoir a special memory that ill always cherish. For that I say thank you.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Bob. We shared some fun times in the pharmacy when we worked together. We had a running joke. Whenever he came in to work during my shift he would say that there was no HR person with him. With that he meant that I was not being fired that day and that he was not there to cover my shift. Rest in peace Bob, My condolences to his family and friends,

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Halliseys passing. My family lived in OS and my dad was a friend of Bob's-- his name was Tony Corrente -- they both graduated from Mass College of Pharmacy- my dad worked in the store as a registered pharmacist in the 1960's and into the early 70's- He also worked as a research chemist at Chesebough Ponds. I hope they meet up in heaven--- I remember them having long conversations!! Rest in peace Mr. HALLISEY.

Hallisey Family,
We moved to Saybrook when Jaime was only 2, Bob was the first person we met...due to illness....held open his pharmacy until we could get there. Then when she turned of age...gave her her first job! Bob was one of the kindest, gentlest, most generous men we have had the pleasure of knowing. He will be sorely missed. Peace has come to him.

To Kris, Ken, Bob & the entire Dohna family -
My heartfelt condolences on your Dad's passing - the old neighborhood & RBIA beach won't be the same.
I'll always remember him as one of our innumerable, athletically-challenged, slightly sarcastic, would-be volleyball 'players' at countless RBIA picnics over the years. (Hopefully, he'll soon join Pete Alfano at heaven's volleyball lessons!)
Along with the likes of some of our beloved RBIA friends: Irene, Andy, Queenie and Pete, Heaven's RBIA beach party just added another prime attendee.
May he rest in peace throughout the (RBIA beach) sands of time...
Sincerely,
Doug

Dearest Gretchen and Family -
We loved your dad - he was an amazing man. I will never forget the Christmas concerts at Old Saybrook High School where his appearance was the highlight of the show. When we first moved to Old Saybrook he was one of the first people we met and I knew immediately we had come to the right place. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Much love to all of you.

Bob (Grandfather) was much loved by the Quinn family. His humor and love of life made him great company at all social events. And of course, there were many golf adventures for Bob and Jere. He will be missed. Let his faith and love for God help to comfort his family in their time of mourning. Love, Judy
