I was privileged to have known Mr. Haltli for about 36 years. He was an awesome guy - plain and simple. Rarely did I see Mr. Haltli angry. He always had a gleam in his eye and a smile underneath that trademark beard. I spent a lot of time at 846 and 2524 and in Ashby – and Mr. Haltli was always happy to see me. Even when I was a little terd – he was always kind and hospitable to me. I will always remember how nice he kept the yard at 2524 (even though we probably beat up the grass playing football on it). I will also remember how important a good pot of coffee was to him. I am thankful for having a positive role model like him for all of us kids that hung around the Haltli house. He will be missed by all.

Dear Haltli Family -
How sad I am to hear of your loss. Bob was such a wonderful man...a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to everyone he met. My heart goes out to you and I wish you peace in the upcoming days and weeks. I am sorry that I cannot be there to pay tribute to such a special man.

With much love and admiration to a wonderful family,
Amy (Gray) Cieslicki

Dear Jeanette; Bob was, silently, one of my heroes as I watched him show his very obvious love for you and your family for the past 20+ years that I've known you. He was the man with the smile as big as Minneapolis, a twinkle in his eyes that sparkled like the stars and a heart of pure gold. WHAT A DUDE! My prayers go out to you, your family and Bob. God bless you!

We are so so sorry for your loss. We will always remember Bob and his great since of humor amd his love of family. We remember how much he liked to dance at weddings and have a good time.
