Robert Hanson Obituary
He worked in kitchens across the Twin Cities, including the Kraus-Hartig VFW, and later found purpose as a driver for children with disabilities. He was known for his homemade lefse, among many other delicious recipes. Bob was especially proud of 40+ years of sobriety and in a final act of giving, he chose to donate his body to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program for medical research.
Survived by his wife of 38 years, Judy Dahl Hanson; sisters Kathy Seavert and Winnie Brostrom; as well as stepchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Elvin and Phebe, and brothers Myron, Donald, Duane and Charles.
A celebration of life will be held May 18, 1-4 p.m., at Kraus-Hartig VFW, Spring Lake Park, MN. Memorials preferred to the Parkinson's Foundation or a charity of your choice.
