Robert Hart Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 2, 2014.
Robert S Hart, son of Mae and Sidney Hart, brother of Richard Hart (all deceased) was born in the Bronx, NY, April 20, 1945. Bobby died suddenly on October 24. He lived with a passion for perfection in all he did. In the 1960's, he was a designer and protégé of renowned jeweler Arthur King, creating one-of-kind jewelry in Arthur's studio in Manhattan. He lived life to the fullest; whether attending Woodstock, motorcycling coast to coast, donning his wizard garb, antique & vintage art collecting, or traveling. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, husband, and father. Moving to Florida in the 70's, he and wife Rose made their home in a lush tropical setting in South Miami. Together they thrived in a variety of creative business endeavors. A cousin of lyricist Lorenz Hart, their daughter Lauren was named in his honor. His passion for culinary arts led him to become the proprietor of a popular Italian family restaurant in South Dade. The last several years of his life he resided in Keystone Heights, FL. Bobby is survived by daughter, Lauren, former wife Rose, nieces Jane and Lulu, nephews John and Leo. He will forever be remembered for his loving heart and unique character. A private memorial will be held.

My sincerest condolences and sympathy go out to the Hart family on the loss of Bobby Hart. The Ditzian family and Hart family will forever be bonded together between three generations, three quarters of a century, and two states Florida and New York. I worked with Bobby Hart at Terminal Fabrics on my breaks from college U of F and always enjoyed seeing him, talking and giving him a hug and kiss hello when we saw each other. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate Bobby's well lived life. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel Bobby to watch over you with Aunt Mae, Uncle Sid, Uncle Dick, my father Freddy Ditzian and my grandparents Florence & Harry Klein. RIP Bobby. Love and miss you xoxoxo

Some of my fondest memories are when I was with Bobby and Rose going to dinner in the grove after working on the Sunset property or even before that when he would pick me up to go to work at Terminal Fabrics, I certainly will miss him my love to his family
