Peacefully in Ottawa on Tuesday December 6, 2011 in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Alice Louise Smith. Loving father of Arthur (Annemieke) of Tottenham ON, Alice Alexander (Gregg) of Ottawa, Dell Heaney (Don Edwards) of Orangeville, ON. Cherished grandfather of Carol, Sheryl, Andrew, Colin and great-grandfather of Samantha and Natina. Also survived by 2 sisters Doris Smith and Marian Thompson. Predeceased by 1 brother Ronald and 3 sisters Winnifred Nesbitt, Eileen Heaney and Ruth Chisholm. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at The Church of The Epiphany, 1290 Ogilvie Rd., Ottawa on Friday December 9, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment Highland Memory Gardens Toronto.
